FIRST IMPRESSIONS MINISTRY

You never get a second chance to make a first impression, as the saying goes! At Emmanuel, we strive to offer all guests a friendly greeting, a sincere welcome . . . and a hot cup of coffee! 

Emmanuel's greeters are on the front lines of first impressions. An authentic, friendly greeting sets the tone for our guests. Responsibilities include:

• extending a warm welcome to guests
• directing guests to appropriate campus venues
• ensuring that each guest receives a complete Worship Packet

Our ELC hosts serve as a welcoming presence for families using the Emmanuel Life Center. Responsibilities include:

• extending a warm welcome to guests
• directing guests to the appropriate classrooms for their children
• assisting the kids check-in volunteer and security volunteer to maintain a safe environment for our children

The Info Team is acquainted with the Emmanuel campus as well as Emmanuel's ministries and serve opportunities. Responsibilities include:

• answering general questions and questions about events and ministries
• directing people to appropriate ministry/team leaders

The Parking & Traffic Team keeps the Emmanuel parking lot and overflow parking areas flowing smoothly. Tasks include:

• directing traffic
• greeting guests
• directing guests to visitor or handicapped slots when appropriate
• directing guests to entry points

The Staging Team designs and assembles props and decor for various Emmanuel events. Responsibilities include:

• determining appropriate staging design and efficiently executing set-up and break-down
• procuring supplies and props
• organizing supply and prop storage

The Usher Team is more than just a group to direct traffic in the Worship Center. Responsibilities include:

• monitoring Worship Center seating
• recording attendance
• directing guests to seating and alternative venues
• maintaining order during worship
• ensuring the safety of our guests
